Meet the staff — Joanne

Jo originates from West Yorkshire and now lives here in Oxford. She started dancing at the age of 8 and attended one of the most famous dance schools in the north of England, the Judy Clegg School of Dance. Jo went through the process of taking her medal tests to eventually assisting in the school and then trained for professional qualifications — she has now been qualified for over 10 years. She also trained dancers in Ballroom and Latin at Lancaster University for 3 years.

Besides being qualified in Ballroom, Latin American and Classical Sequence, she is also a very talented tap dancer who has worked on many stage productions as choreographer and dancer. Some of her credits include Anything Goes, Me and My Girl and Half a Sixpence. Jo joined the Dance Rhythms team in 2005 and continues to study with us for further professional examinations.
