UKA dance exam medalsDance examinations

Dance Rhythms offer the opportunity to adults and children of taking medal tests twice a year. Anthony and Susan, being United Kingdon Alliance (U.K.A) examiners themselves, believe that taking an exam is a great marker and that having goals to work towards can only be good.

Exams are normally in May and November at weekends, which is usually far more convenient for adult entrants and the parents of child entrants. The exams are held at Morris Motors Sports & Social Club, Crescent Road, Cowley, Oxford, and Rover Sports & Social Club, Roman Way, Cowley, Oxford. Candidates are allocated a time slot for their test and asked to arrive 30 minutes before that time to register and have a pre-practice.

The U.K.A. allocate an examiner to Dance Rhythms who is, of course, qualified in all the styles that they are examining. Each candidate is introduced to the examiner before they perform their routine.
